Announcement of Maritime Studies Scholarships by HSSA
“Empowering the Next Generation of Talent in the Maritime Industry”
The Hellenic Shortsea Shipowners Association (EENMA) announces, for the 12th consecutive year, its scholarship program aimed at providing financial support to undergraduate and postgraduate students with limited financial means who wish to pursue maritime studies, while simultaneously rewarding academic excellence.
EENMA established the scholarship scheme in 2015, tangibly demonstrating its commitment to its founding and enduring pledge to support the human capital that serves as the “steady helm” of shipping. Particularly in our era, when demands on maritime professionals are high due to technological advancements, the green transition, and strict regulatory frameworks, education and lifelong learning are vital prerequisites for a successful professional career.
Candidate applications are evaluated by the Scholarship Evaluation Committee, taking into account academic performance, general knowledge, and socioeconomic criteria.
