Greeks form LNG bunkering coalition

Greek owners, energy companies and port authorities have copied their northern European peers by forming a joint consultation group to promote the use of LNG bunkering in the nation.

The interest coalition is named Marine LNG Network and unites 16 members, ranging from the Hellenic Shortsea Shipowners’ Association (HSSA) and the Greek Shipowners’ Association of Passenger Shipping Companies (SEEN) to state-run natural gas firm DEPA, ports, bunker suppliers and classification societies.
