“The importance of eco incentives for SSS and the maritime”
The European Shortsea Network (ESN) is currently organizing the webinar “The importance of eco incentives for SSS and the maritime sector including the necessity to revise the current guidelines on state aid in the maritime sector” which will take place on the 25th of May 2022 in the framework of the 2022 Italian Presidency of ESN. The event will be an opportunity to present the first draft proposal of the ESN position paper “SSS 2027- Challenges and opportunities” and to exchange views and best practices on the importance of developing multimodal eco-incentive schemes for SSS, discussing important issues such as the need to revise the current framework defined by the European Commissions’ guidelines on state aid to maritime transport.
