The POSEIDON MED is the first European cross-border project which aims to introduce the LNG as marine fuel and develop a sufficient network of LNG bunkering value chain. It focuses in the Eastern Mediterranean with five project partners from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Croatia and Slovenia.

The project aims to develop an appropriate strategy for the introduction and further the promotion of LNG as a marine fuel which can provide an effective and efficient solution to the problem of reducing emissions in the Mediterranean region.
